Guests consistently praise the Banff Park Lodge for its excellent location, right downtown and near the river and bike path, with easy access to Banff's attractions and a free ski shuttle to Banff Sunshine or Lake Louise just opposite the hotel. The spacious rooms, some recently renovated, often feature balconies with lovely mountain views and convenient amenities like fridges and double sofas, also microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Many appreciate the pool, sauna, and hot tub. While the gym has been noted as small by some, the location and overall experience are frequently described as exceptional and worth the price. Breakfast is another point that many guests appreciate.

adequate stay with some disappointments

good locationold equipmentnoisy hvac unit
The location was good. It allowed walking to many shops and the river.
The gym facilities were disappointing. It was very small with old equipment. moreover, use was not permitted until after 6am due to safety concerns. This seems odd since it's unsupervised. the hvac unit was also quite noisy.

Comfortable Stay in Central Area

I liked the spacious rooms. Staff were helpful and also friendly. Parking was easy to access. A beautiful walking trail and downtown shops were super close to the hotel.
I noticed the gym seems very small. It might not function if more than a person is in it.
